The hiking trails are currently built with the broad stone sidesteps. On the way to Tran Temple (worshiping God Quy Minh – 18th Hung King), 7 octagonal ironwood buildings are built in order to serve the relaxation of trekking tourists. The waterway tourist routes combine hiking with excursions by boats across 13 caves to historic sites as the closed roadmap. It is these unique features make Ninh Binh travel become much more attractive.
According to road tour, it takes over 3 hours for tourists to explore the Trang An eco tourism complex beginning at the reception center in Trang An avenue. From the wharf, visitors go first to Toi (Dark) Cave, then to Sang (Bright) Cave, Nau Ruou (Wine-brewing) Cave, and the others in a circular route. These caves are home to many wild creatures and plants and each cave has its own beauty with many stalactites in a profusion of color. Traversing each cave, visitors come to another watery valley flanked by cliffs and forests. While enjoying the fresh mountain air and the soft light of the river valleys, visitors are suddenly dazzled by the sun and get the feeling they are lost in a fairy land. The water is calm and so limpid that bushes of green weeds on the bottom look like a grass cover.
